DaweV6
I've search and still don't know, will / how would offset et33 fit my car? Most common is ET 35 - 38 33 shouldn't be such a problem, should it ? It's just a 3 mm diference - do you have 3 mm between your arch lip and a sidewall ? ajc.78
the standard ford escort finesse alloys are et41 so et33 is nearly a cm out so unlikely to fit without rubbing especially with lowering

How is ET33 actually gonna handle ? No idea. Especially with disc brakes in the back, which makes the axle lot wider, it may scrub a bit. It's all about individual fitment, that's why I was asking John if he has aprox. 3 mm to give.
ScORTED
depends what width the wheels are, if they are less than 7.5j then yes they'll fit, you might need to run narrowish tyres though.the disc beam adds a few mm either side thats it not "lots wider" by any stratch of the imagination as when i changed beams my ET38 8J rims still fit

That's why I used the term.
ScORTED
and of the 100s of disc conversions only a few people have done the focus one
JC
Oh well the wheels are sold now that I was looking at, Dave i think so? Does the smaller off set 33 means the wheels stick out from the arch, and a bigger off set (in terms of the numerical offset value) means the wheels are into the arch? I have just confused myself with all i've read and I have a mk5 rs2000 conversion with soon to be mondeo V6 caliper and escort cossie discs up front I think I will get another set of GTi rims

Yes. Yes, it does. TBH There was one small problem with those OZ's - he just couldn't specify the diameter of center hole. That's what put me of to start with.
