marshy Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 i recently bought some chrome bonnet lifters..i set about fitting them today,but im having problems so need some advice please guys...when fitted and upon closing the bonnet im left with a large gap (about 1/2 inch) at the sides of the bonnet...http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/S2010004-3.jpghttp://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/S2010003-3.jpgAFAIK theyre fitted right (didnt get no instructions) but i remember a mate saying something about when he fitted his to the RS,he had to trim a bit of metal IIRC??any ideas guys?
