wwwd
Figured that since Xmas has come and gone some people on here might have acquired an iPad. If so, got any cool Apps you'd recommend? Games or useful utilities?

EscortNreg
enters EscortNreg..... I thank you lol IM+ and all the games you have on your iPhone but in HD! All depends what you want to use it for, have you considered jail breaking? I know some would advise against it but it opens your iPad to it's full potential. http://ipad.tvcatchup.com/ is a must! When on it, press the arrow at the top of your browser and press "add to homepage" and it will add an app box, just click on that and it will go direct to it eveytime... You can do this with all your fave websites, can come in handy.

Any ideas how I can get this fixed? Endless searching on the Internet is proving futile...
Hunter Jamie
Apple will sort it out for you probally even if its out of warranty . Apple is a American company so (the customer is always right) or they just have good customer service .. Try and phone them and see what the say
EscortNreg
Get onto apple... They will replace it... Even though it's not covered by warranty. One thing I will say about apple, there customer service is amazing... I was getting ready to kick off when the bumper scratched my phone but they just said sorry and replaced it. But for now.. Try a rubber on the scratch, give it a good going for ten minutes and see what happens.

andaba
They look up warranty status by the serial. It's well worth taking it into your local Mac store and booking an appointment with the Genius people at the back. Even if they can't fix it for you, they might be able to recommend something to reduce it a bit. They're awesome for product knowledge.

wwwd
I've booked an appointment with the Geniuses at the Apple Store for tomorrow. How do you think I should play it? Claim there was a scratch on it when I got it or tell them I wiped the screen and a scratch appeared?

Claim there was a scratch on it when I got it or tell them I wiped the screen and a scratch appeared? Tell them you were advised by apple call centre before you bought it that the screen was indestructible and youe wouldn't need a screen protector so you just followed there advice. Don't they sell screen protectors in Apple stores? And what do I tell them about how the scratch got on my iPad?
PeeWee
When I got my iphone4 it was stated they were so confident of the new scratch reistant glass they didn't include a protecter (they did with the others).Im guessing the same applied to the ipad (it is generaly the bigger version of an iphone4).
