That berni and lepu should be banned from goin any where near cars. Especially after hearing the first car they tried to build caught fire and the body shop burnt down n fire brigade were called, shows a great lack of safety in every way. Yes considering they were going to use a banger racing car for one of the projects! they must have been Fcuking mental to even think using a banger derby car would be at all a good idea Heres the 'solution' to the spring problem, TOTAL BODGE! Skip to 4.00 and you will see. I must say im shocked, utter deathtrap.... They seen to think a substandard weld holding on a little loop of metal is going to hold that spring in place, yeah right, the momentum of a 1 odd tonne car will snap that welds off pretty sharpish! That clip just goes to show how fecking thick,stupid,down right bloodi dangerous they are, and they think it's great, unbelievable cr4ppy bit of metal bird shyte welding yeah don't worry that'll hold the spring in it'll handle like a dream, yeh a wet dream. As caled said shows, people like this are ruining the reputation of bodyshops, car modders, car shows, always something that has to spoil what we enjoy give it a bad name. shawdreamer Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 jesus christ, after watching a select few of those vids I can't help but honestly and genuinely believe that the cars that result from thunder races are more road worthy than some of those lethal motors. and as for "leepu's design technique" were he basically starts running round the garage making various dump valve noise's and waving his arms round is beyond comical to see.....IF it was my car he was about to start work on and started prancing about like that, Id get in the car, reverse it out get a couple of miles away and phone the local loony bin.
