1996 Escort Cabriolet, might fancy a swap

Hi all

 

I am thinking of swapping the 'vert as i fancy a change

 

Its a 96 on a N plate. Its got MOT until March and tax until the end of Feb. Its a 1.6 Zetec

 

The car is showing 107K i think and runs well. The roof is fully electric and works with absolutely no problems. and DOES not leak, even in all the rain snow etc we have recently had!

 

The car also has electric windows, central locking etc etc. It also has 16inch Wolfrace alloys on it. It also comes in that really nice Bronze colour, is it Aztec Bronze or Orange Bronze or something????

 

It has a few issues.

 

It will need a wheel bearing soon i think.

Also needs a new brake light switch (it is only the switch as i have circuit tested it)

A small amount of surface rust on drivers door.

 

There are more good points and probably more bad points if i think really hard but i am just wondering whether there is any interest in swapping a convertible at this time of year?

 

Not sure what i want so message me and i will text you some pics if your interested, as i cant find the lead to connect my phone to the mac!

 

A decent car that i value at about 450 - 500 but i would need a swap as its our only car at the moment and we have to do the school run etc!

 

The car is located near Walsall in the West Midlands

I do have the 4th alloy, its in the boot. I think it has a slow puncture but i didnt want to risk the missus being stranded so put the spare on, just havent had the time or money to replace the tyre yet!

And thats about it

 

It does have a few cosmetic issues but it is still a good looking car

 

Oh, in the photos it looks like the sills are two colours, they aren't, it is just where i had just washed it and some had dried and some hadnt!

 

However the sills have had some welding, they are solid but not that pretty !

 

I have been brutally honest i think with the pics, just want you to be aware that it isnt perfect !
