lips2k9 Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 I have been working on this since last august, its motted and taxed but thats where the good news ends... around xmas the timing belt snapped and killed its 1.6 cvh so I sourced a Rs2000 engine, loom, fusebox and ecu I have almost got it finished but I am struggling and due to my illness need a working car to make hospital apointments - I will be happy to take any escort mk5, mk5b, mk6, fiesta, ka as long as they are motted and in decent nick. Here is a list of what has been done to the cabbie during the last few months: Mk6 Dash conversion, including white digidialsMk6 Door Cards and handlesNew Mk6 Roof fittedNew MP3 player fittedMk5 Leather Front SeatsNew Front Arm Passenger sideNew Handbrake CableGearbox replacedClutch replacedBattery replaced It still needs a lot of work and I really do need a working car so please feel free to contact me about this.
