Posted February 17, 201113 yr Ever since we have moved into this house the kitchen hot tap pressure has been rotten. First I tried now washers - FAIL I've then tried a new tap - FAIL. Hot pressure in every other tap in the house is fine. Any ideas? Also for some reason the house has 2 exterior taps. One from the kitchen and one from the utility. I done away with the kitchen one and kept the one on the side of the house which is fed from the utility. I then discovered the pressure was rubbish. I thought it was due to the previous owner just using one of those cheapy kits that cuts into the pipe. I done away with all that and put in proper 15mm pipe from supply to tap but the same problem persists. Again any ideas? gravity fed system, good ol hot tank not a combi.
February 17, 201113 yr You don't have a Isolating valve hidden behind the cupboards or an appliance? If these little buggers don't get turn all the way on you will get a restricted flow to just one room/tap/appliance http://www.screwfix.com/sfd/i/cat/68/p4778868_l.jpg
