hi peeps new to this and got a mk 4 escort van 1.8 D and recently aquired a 1600 cvh mk4 van for peanuts and thinking of doing a conversion as the 1600 shell has seen better days so just wondering what are the dos and donts of a conversion and any tips or tricks the engine will be going into a DIESEL shell so any help woul be greatly apriciated as this will be my first ford conversion cheers PAUL

lots of work : engine,gearbox,exhaust system,complete fuel system inc tank,wireing loom thats just for starters you will virtually strip car to do all this its can be done though if you are handy with a spanner and keen you will be able to sell the diesel box to a rs turbo owner lol good luck

It's probably cheaper to sort out the 1600 shell
