hey guys i have a 130 spec engine in my car after having to replace it becuase i shot a bearing in my engine. its been running a bit lumpy at time and i was wondering if I use my 130 spec ECU i have kicking about will it connect onto my '97 P plate Escort Si

being 93-94 is this Pre Pats i.e. does this mean my key i have for my car will work

Will the pins need to be swapped round then? and what will the pins be controlling?

i have a engine out of a RS1800 Fiesta plastic inlet 115ps Cams standard 115spec TB and MAF

So the only bit that's unique to the 130ps engine left is the head itself? If so then no, there's no point in changing ECU, it'll just make it run wrong.

 

The problem you have is nothing to do with the spec.
