A little unsure if this should go in the events section but as its not actually a specific event, I've thrown it in here.

 

What shows that evo are attending (showing) do people count as the best shows in the year?

As for the next few months (as bloody usual) im gonna be a little shy on the cash flow front, but at least while I still have an excort I want to at least make it to one or two.

 

So which are the best ones for:

Size,

Attendance,

Track/drift/drag (something to watch),

Displays,

Quality etc.

IMO if you only make one, make it ford fair in august :-)

 

ticks all your boxes too

sod the shows its the night before for the pi55 up and bbqs thats the best bit imo

its all about modified nationals best weekend show of the year.

Went both, Trax is slightly smaller but has more variety of cars nice to see some times,

The one in August is Ford Fair, like JC said lol

 

 

 

Central show - santa pod - theres loads of drag action and theres always a good turn out with it being the first "Ford" show of the year

 

Fiesta in the Park - Huntington race course - more of a park and pose show as theres no "action" as such, normally a smaller show

 

Classic ford - santa pod - same as central show but more classic fords than "modern" fords

 

Ford Fair - Silverstone - the highlight of the year!! it's the biggest ford show in the UK, lots of track action, 0-60 runs, it's massive!!!!

 

Trax - Silverstone - This is a mixed performance car show, it's little a bit smaller version of ford fair but with all makes and models of cars, lots of track action and some drifting as well

 

 

that's just a very breif over view of a couple of mainly ford shows, I'm sure other people will suggest other shows as well

 

FORD FAIR is a must tho

There was a couple of years a while back where I went to almost every show and meet in a two year spell but cant remember which are the best and things now.

 

Will most probably go to the Central at pod, then ford fair in August if I can manage to get leave etc...
