Posted March 3, 201113 yr Right, Just purchased MK 3 Mondeo Callipers and what hoses will I Need, I'm Going Stainless Steel I'm going to go for HEL brake lines. I've heard people Chuck around both Mondeo MK1 and MK2, why not MK3 if they are for a MK 3 calliper as well. Thanks Jordan
March 4, 201113 yr I think people use MK1/2 brake parts as they are pre.tty muchthe same as Escort brakes (just a little bigger) MK3 brakes are going to be completely different... I can't see this working to be honest
March 4, 201113 yr mk1 mony hoses i think you cant use a mk3,maybe to do with the female end being wrong for the escort?
March 4, 201113 yr Ok Ta Guys does it matter what engine size they are from ?You can use whatever calipers which will fit inside your wheel, when that's all you got you make em work. We've got hoses and things down at work if you want Dad to make some up for you, i'm sure he won't mind but obviously will cost for hose and labour. Edited March 4, 201113 yr by Ahmotorsport
March 4, 201113 yr Mk1 hoses fit.. it's not perfect but they work. Personally i'd get an Escort hose, a Mk3 mondeo hose, and go visit my local hydraulics place and get some PROPER hoses made up.

March 4, 201113 yr Was the 'PROPER' towards me? xD No, otherwise I would have quoted your post, like this.
March 4, 201113 yr i ran escort hoses for a while, put a little spacer on there so they fitted... not ideal... or safe but it never failed to actually stop me lol.
