Russ T Bitz Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Basically....how do I do it? On my old Rover 200 Gti you just pulled the rubber 'stopper' away from the back of the headlight unit and got access to it there. On my Escort I can't seem to get in there. I found 3 allen key sockets that seemed to hold the unit to the bodywork but when I removed them there was no movement. So how do I get access to the bulbs to change them?
JC Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 the back of the main light unit there is a metal clip that holders on the plastic cover onto the back of the light unit, take this off and you will see the bulbs and all the wires
Russ T Bitz Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Perfect! Thanks What about the front foglight bulbs? I can feel the rubber 'stopper' under the front spoiler so I guess I just pop that off and go in that way but which bulb do I use? Is there a standard part number for it?
