Matt_Si Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 Im possibly going to be after a standard rear beam to fit a Mk5 Escort (same as Mk6?!) as i want to get the disc'd rear beam off mine but id like to be able to keep it on wheels. Thought id see if anyone had a standard beam then i could just swap them over to keep it on wheels, get me? Might not be needed now as i found out the scrappy might be able to pick it up with a crane grabber thing (stop me if im getting too technical) so i might be able to have it on axel stands. Although I need to get some brake pipes made up and get a hold of the parts for a 300mm conversion before i take mine off to save having to break into the brake system twice. Like i said though, i might be able to just take it off and put it aside if the car doesnt need to on wheels to be collected, and if thats the case i wont actually need another beam.
