Advice in painting my grill

Recommended Posts

just bought an rs accesory grill and it is painted gloss green. Is it possible to apply paint remover on it or else some sort of hydraulic oil so the paint would come off quickly?? But then would the new paint stick immediately on it or else leave bubbles? Thanks

I wouldn't apply either of them to the grille, if you want to paint it a different colour all you need to do is.

Grey scotchbrite the grille, until it's completely Matt, if there are any shiney bits the paint will not adhere itself to those areas, and will eventually flake off, with all paint work it's all in the prep work.

Once completey Matt, you need to degrease it with a solvent wipe, make sure it's all clean, once that's all done your ready to paint it.....
