Cheers mate - it's so nice up in Oban, thats one of the lesser views from his house...Looks so much better without the pishy metal nonsense, I must agree. Plans are maybe HIDs....but only maybe. Currently in vauxhall getting a £390 service.....:/
caled
£390... whats that include? Ah, that bit of Scotland is ace. I've spent a fair amount of time up in Onich, a lovely part of the world. Must get a bit desolate in winter, though.

Must get a bit desolate in winter, though. Timing belt replacement (£300) and a £90 service, although it's the same as the £130 service, and uses vauxhall parts, but isn't "vauxhall approved" - safe to say I'm avoiding that dealer like the plague now. Useless arseholes.

Useless arseholes. Take the bold bits back.Phoned a different arnold clark vauxhall branch and asked for a quote to change the timing belt. This came out at £211 instead of the £300 that Stirling had quoted me.Took this into the dealer ship and the service lady "reduced the labour" so overall charge was £208.something.Bill £298.20, on par for £100 less.Happy chappy. shawdreamer
Fair play. Must be pretty nippy. After his 1.8t golf gti? Looks rubbish mate tbf....their a hell of alot faster than you would ever give them credit for until you drive one. I had one as a courtesy car after my Astra was truck bumped and had a easy 135mph out of it on a deserted m6 toll road at 3am, it had more to give I reckoned but it was brand new and I didnt want to have to explain how its spanky new engine blew its valves through the head.
