What colour u going for? Leave the splitter black dint colour code it. Lot of love for this mate, keep it up

Cheers mate. Means a lot for someone to appreciate the work gone into it. Especially from someone who's done so much on their own car. Theres a couple of people who like it who have done lots themselves too. Their the ones who can appreciate more how much work it takes to do something! Oh and its matt black im going for. :thumb:

Been off the car for about 3 weeks now. Only weekends available and between crap weather and my 4 month old there hasnt been any time to do what I wanted. ;(

One little update: I got a rear bumper from the scrappy last friday, this means I can now widen the rear out to meet the arches :) Along with this I can then fit the skirts, inc the part of the cossie skirt that rises up into the rear quarter. Being a 5 door, the raised section needs to be removed from the skirt and added to the bottom of the door. X( Considering the arches are all on and blended in, this should be easy :innocent:

Cheers for all the comments. More comments and ideas welcome. Also got a nice idea for the front bumper but im not telling anyone till its done ;)

And here we go, update after 3 weeks of doing nothing.

First off was the need to widen the rear bumper to meet the arch. I got a donor bumper last week from the scrappy so set about chopping it up and getting it to fit. As it happened, after the first cut (guesstimated) it actually fitted quite sweetly. I screwed it into place and then re-fitted the spats over the top. Untill i get some expanding foam tomorrow I cant fill the gap between the bumper and the extension piece. One filled, I'll sand down to the shape of the arch and then fibreglass over the top.

While I was at it, I thought I'd trial fit the skirts too. There was a little bit of cutting to get into situe. At a later date will need to trim and blend the ection that runs into the rear doors. Looks really good imo and I'm weel chuffed with how it'll look.
