stoney
Not really the point tho is is trig as per the rules and has happened many times in previous years aleast one of those cars shouldnt of been there....sorry but this is trueNo need to be sorry, you weren't when it was you benefiting from my leniency. If anyone that was on our stand feels particulary put out then I apologise, it wasn't my intention because i put a clio on there? the point iam making is that i was still a paid member so i was entitled to do so!!! it wasnt your leniancy at all!!! if any ones been leniant it is us with your organisation skills ffs
stEVO-Cabby
The stand & show was awesome - if anyone else wanted to organise the day and where the cars were then they should have opened their mouth - pointing the finger after the event is pathetic imo . Trig did a top job and i thank him for putting himself out - on Sat as well for people coming a day earlier. I think it's really poor that he organised tickets - stand passes - brought the flag and made sure everyone knew where to go and all you can do is slate him for it If you weren't there then what right have you to make comments that make Trig compelled to apologise - no way to apologising don't care what anyone says Trig they are all a bunch of kids that are crying coz they can't have any sweets boo hoo Don't listen to them. The day was tops The cars where even better And no i didn't give a dam if my car were at the back or front - coz i don't live with my parents any more
massivewangers
My personal opinion; having a car like that on the show stand should be a pleasure and I'd have put it right at the front too. The club needs to do all it can to gain attention, so having such a stand out car on the stand is a good thing, as it promotes the clubs and draws people to the stand. You'll never please everyone though. In my experience working behind the scenes in car clubs, you'll always upset someone whatever you do, so it's a lose-lose situation! Trig
trig puttin him self out!! he couldnt get there on time so we had to pay twice to get in ffs! Just for completness, as you have missed out a couple of facts Stoney: A 1hr 15 min round trip to the gate at Santa Pod is going out of my way, especially when to come off the M1 at J19 and drive down the A14 is a quicker way to Pod than coming off the M1 at J15, as goin along the A14 comes within a couple of miles of my house and would mean I only have a 10 min trip out to hand over tickets. But as people prefer to take the M1 route, I go well out of my way, all I asked was for someone to let me know when they are coming off the M1. Which brings me onto my next point. I asked if someone could let me know when they came off the M1 so that I could stop what I was doing and pack up then head down and meet everyone. They forgot, so I didn't get the notice I needed to get to the gate at the same time, hence why I wasn't there 'on time' as you put it (if I did get there at the time you were expecting to arrive then I would have had a 2 hour wait). And finally, you Stoney, didn't have to pay twice to get in as you didn't have an advance ticket. Wayne agreed with the Santa Pod staff that they had to pay to get in and would be refunded when the tickets arrived, which is what happened, so nobody had to pay twice to get in as you put it. I do listen to the opinions of the regulars and over the years I don't think I could have been any more accomodating for them all. Now can we get back to talking about the show

Wayne agreed with the Santa Pod staff that they had to pay to get in and would be refunded when the tickets arrived, which is what happened, so nobody had to pay twice to get in as you put it. - in theory nobody had to pay twice, but it did cost me £108 to pay 4 members in when they had already paid in advance I do listen to the opinions of the regulars and over the years I don't think I could have been any more accomodating for them all. As for my car and other members being at back - I aint bothered, but a bit more spaced out would have been better As for the non-members cars been on the stand - where was the stickers, membership rule? As for Steves comments - think you need to attend more shows or get to know people before commenting
Trig
- Tickets were asked to be posted out, which you forgot to? Yes, I forgot to leave work early to get to the post office to post tickets out (which incidentally is against one of the rules) - I did text you to say that Tommy was 20 mins away and to leave tickets at the gate if you wanted, and when we got there an hour later, you hadnt even set offAs soon as I saw that text and couldn't find his number I text you and asked for it. I hadn't set off because I was working, which I told you and said I wanted a quick text to let me know so I could get there, is that unreasonable? And finally, you Stoney, didn't have to pay twice to get in as you didn't have an advance ticket. Wayne agreed with the Santa Pod staff that they had to pay to get in and would be refunded when the tickets arrived, which is what happened, so nobody had to pay twice to get in as you put it. - in theory nobody had to pay twice, but it did cost me £108 to pay 4 members in when they had already paid in advanceWhich you had back in 40 mins. You didn't lose anything, did you? As for my car and other members being at back - I aint bothered, but a bit more spaced out would have been better Granted, I thought we had a bit more room than we did As for the non-members cars been on the stand - where was the stickers, membership rule? Stickers and membership covered the white Escort, the Fiesta, it looked like we had space and I though we could do someone a favour, and with hindsight, maybe I wouldn't have done and would have kept the space for the rest of us. I don't live and die by the rules, Im as flexible as possible, to try and make sure as many people as possible have a good weekend. If the members want me to stick ridgidly to a set of rules then so be it. I will have a look over the show rules, make sure Im happy with them and willing to enforce them. heavyrightfoot
If you were working then fair enough (you told me you was in ya garage), but a first class stamp would have got the tickets here so you were having to make the trip out, and we werent having to hang about waiting for our tickets again? No I wasnt out of pockets luckily, as the woman at Pod refunded the tickets we bought, not the advanced ones As for the quick text - you got 1, I wasnt to know you lived so far away?
