i've run my escort on a decat and K&N and no problem, about 95 db?

I've only got a centre

Box, back box has no damping material in it, it's quite loud.

 

 

Also, how would those who have done track days before rate the standard suspension setup on track?

you won't have a problem with the noise test

 

as for standard suspension I don't see that as a problem as there is fun to be had whatever car you are in and whatever level of modifications you have as it is a chance to test your driving skills against the circuit. although my car is now heavily modified for track days I had no less fun in it on track when it was standard.

I may just turn up and spectate as its 2 days before I go back to the forces, so if anything were to break I'd not have a chance to fix it.

Also rang my insurance and I'm not covered for track days.

 

and by the time I spend the entry fee, fuel up there, tank of fuel if not more, track day insurance etc its gonna be a lot of expense two days before I return.
