eetaylog
Is there a way to keep power on to the PCI slots when putting windows into s3 standby mode? I think the driver for my gfx card is causing my current standby issues (sometimes the computer wont wake from sleep) and i think that if i keep the card powered on during standby it may solve it. sidrick
No. Is it an nVidia card? We had that issue at my last work. It was never sorted.
eetaylog
No. Is it an nVidia card? We had that issue at my last work. It was never sorted. ATI radeon 4670. Ive tried everything, updated to latest bios, tried every power setting under the sun, used 3rd party stanby handlers but still no luck. Ive just updated to the latest ati drivers, will see if that helps. If not then i will be binning my system and building a new one under one of the new generation i3/5 cpu's and just run off the onboard graphics (the new architecture of the i processors and their chipsets is supposed to be sh!t hot for onboard graphics). ScORTED
i have a sapphire 4670 and have never had issues coming into or out of sleep mode. I've used this car across a 1366 i7, an amd x2, a 1156 i3 and currently an 1155 i5 system, my guess is its your board or your settings
