kevscort15 Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Bought my car off micky gti about 2yrs ago ,im sure when i bought it ,he said he had fitted rs brakes ,now i want to change my 17" wheels ,ive bought two sets of so called ford wheels but they dont fit ,yeh i can get them on the studs but the studs are a bit off set and i cant get the wheel nuts on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kevscort15 Posted November 22, 2011 Author Share Posted November 22, 2011 yeh mate, but want them to sit properley ,not on the studs ,have got movement to get a wheel nut on ,but then cant get ,anymore nuts on as studs sit to far over ,its strange thou as my original alloys seems to have a lot larger stud holes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SLEEMAN Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 maybe you need new wheel nuts as the ones you have are designed to go with them alloy wheels in mind, as all new alloy wheels come with the fitting kit which includes the wheel nuts, or has you got a spacer on the wheel hub??
