you know what i've gone off the idea now, maybe just stick to simple stuff, i was gonna do it to make it look tempting for when i sell it again, you know 1.8 turbo charged ford escort, might just put throttle bodies in or something.

Please dont give up, i'd love to see a reliable turbo conversion running about, dont think theres one on here thats actually been finished and is about for us all to see now :(

No offense I was more looking for your advice mostly about the turbo but I've calculated the costs including all the plumbing etc so I think it's worth while going for n/a and get what I can out of it going for a bike throttle body conversion theres a company that does throttle body setups with zetec manifold for around 300 which isn't too bad, either that or find a set of jenvey tb's on eBay etc seen a few go for over 600 so not too bad then the management, what is better as I want a simple plug and play system??

No such thing.

The cheapest way to do it, for the same power gain, would be to put some Weber DCOE 45 carburettors on it, they don't need mapping, just jetting and choking. The power output (if done correctly) would be identical to throttle bodies. However, higher emissions, so they'd more than likely need removing for the MOT, but if it's fun and power you're after, Webers will provide that and my God the noise.
