Help: Where is the EGR Module? ('94 TD)

I am currently putting a 1800 TD out of a 1994 Escort 1800 TD (intercooled one) and I'm having a bit of an issue with the wiring. It seems that wires from the TPS and EGR valve (+some others) go to a 'EGR Module' according to the Haynes manual. What I would like to know is where on the car is this located? as it seems I neglected to remove it from the Escort when I stripped it down.

I've tried googling EGR Module but not getting anything of any use... I've also tried my local scrappy to see if they have any Escorts of the same era to follow the wires and try and source one but no joy (as in no cars).

Any help locating said item would be much appreciated or even a pic would be nice to see what I'm missing.

Thanks in advance.

I find it amazing I can't find an answer to this.. I've posted on loads of forums and googled it to death but no joy.. I'm even looking for complete cars on ebay to buy of the 1993/4 era to try and track down what this EGR Module is!

Which page of the Haynes are you looking at ?

TBH I always thought that EGR was controlled by the ECU?

I believe they are on the post 95 models.

Here is the Haynes Diagram the bit I seek is number 29.

Cheers for the responses much appreciated.

Any idea where this is located on the car?

Did you ever get this sorted?

This is on a 1994 TD engine?

Can you see an electric connector going to your EGR valve?

I thought they were operated by vacuum, especially the earlier models (pre 95).

Ive recently blocked mine off and there were no electrical connectors.

If it is electrical, this would probably throw an ECU error / ecu light on when the egr is removed / blanked, as happened when I remove the EGR on my newer Golf TDI.

Im working on my van tonight, I'll take a look.
