**STOLEN** Yamaha YB100 - G348 GHD

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I try not to ask for much but I am in need now :(

My motorbike was stolen last night, Police have no clues beyond "we'll keep an eye out" so I'm pinning some hope on publicity.

All I'm asking is 10 seconds of your time to share this album on Facebook (if you have it) http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1...7304&type=1

And/or please share this album on Twitter/other social media sites http://imageshack.us/g/208/timelineum.jpg/

It's a Red/Black/Silver Yamaha YB100, registration G348 GHD

Taken with alarmed lock still attached to frame and rear wheel.

Pictures:

It's not fully comp or theft insured as the excess was more than the bikes current value (effectively I was uninsured against theft regardless of cover level due to my age :( ). It was third party only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance! ;(

It's been found! :O

Had a drive around last night just to see if it had been ditched anywhere... Found it parked up about half a mile away.

The lock was still connected, although someone has been at it with a hacksaw. Looks like they carried it down the road then tried to remove the lock to push it away but gave up (Possibly to pick it up with a van/pickup later perhaps?).

Phoned the Police first who came straight away and knocked on some doors but no one had seen anyone move it there... "It just appeared..."

They told me to park it somewhere secure but do not handle it with anything other than gloves as scenes of crime want to have a look.

It's now locked out of sight in a friends garage until the police get chance to look.

I can't believe how lucky I am to get it back!

Next purchases... Metal Shed, ground anchor and a new lock! :thumb:

Many, many thanks to everyone who helped by sharing the picture links :)

Great news. Must admit that whenever i read threads like this, my first thought is always 'youll never see that again'.

Have a look at this though, remember reading the thread a few years back (theres a link to it on that page)...
