That's the Saxo lump isn't it?

 

Nothing different, absolute doddle, the only things that can be annoying if they've seized on are the gear linkages, they should just pop on and off, easily broken though, so do be careful, i just use a lever bar.

 

Just to add. The gearbox filling bung is in a bit of an awkward place, there are two methods we use, a funnel and rubber pipe from the top of the car or using the 1L oil bottles with the cone tops, you can get them under there and just squeeze them in.

pretty sure its the tu engine. im not worried about the job its just if there is somthing i should replace while the box is out .being french i expect that somthing will be siezed :thumb:

Isn't the TU a 1.4?

 

Can't say i know of anything else to change. I reckon the Saxo engines/gearboxes are pretty good, everyone slates them (including myself) but they're actually decent.

yes pretty sure its also made as a 1.1,1.4 and 1.6 (old p205 engine) :thumb:
