Pac1982
Been offered this for very little money, full MOT, Full Service history, paint is faded but will come up nice with a good t cut and mop. Full electrics including roof. Its the 1.6 16v model, with very good body work and a good hood My idea is to let the Mrs Drive it this summer, then keep it in the garage till next summer and sell it for a little profit. What would you say it's worth? the Mrs wants a cheap convertible for some summer fun as shes never had one before someone also said the plate may be worth some cash http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h25/pac1982/cd9b875f.jpg I also want to change the interior would a mk6 interior fit? ScORTED
£400 - £500 if it runs and drives well... plate is standard issue 94/95 prefix registration and is worth what someone will pay for it (IMO nothing) as for the interior, check how the front seats adjust, if they have levers at the side by the centre console then no as its a mk5 floopan but if they have handles at the front of the seats then yes as its a mk5b / mk6 floor pan, but obviously the rear seats would have to come from a cabriolet

ScORTED
its worth 200 to weigh in... don't think it'll make mega bucks though, i had an L reg 130 spec top of the range all options one last year and ended up pretty much giving it away. also make you you have a garage or car port as it will leak
PeeWee
I wouldn't think twice about buying that for£200.It may not leak, unless theres something I don't know about mk5b cabby's?My Mk6 doesn't leak.

As said above, the weight alone will get you not far off your money back.
Ahmotorsport
I'd say it's worth £200 for a summer run around. It's in a fast colour too.
GingeRS2K
I'd take a punt at £200! I scrapped an escort estate at the weekend full of scrap metal and got £240! Worth it for the summer fun and if all is well next year may see a few quid in your pocket. Had a few myself and one tucked in the garage for that sunny day!! Hezz
It's in a fast colour too. got to be worth 200 squid as scorted said plates not worth a fortune might be worth 25-100 quid to some with the right initials though

Stu
I always wanted a turbocharged yellow cabriolet with black wheels. Funny how things change!
