That's the gallery above, if its still not working just enter the reg plate into google images and the pics appear on there.

Yeh, I'm in the police Devon & Cornwall should of kept it in my opinion! Better than the diesel Ford focus estates we're lumbered with. I often drive my escort around on duty if there's no marked vehicles still fit for the job! Quicker too!

had a look at some pics on facebook looks great ,are you able to sticker it up with genuine police decals as officially its no longer a police car is it ? have seen a few older granadas/cortinas and they have removable roof lights or covers and the word police is removable (magnetic signs) or covered up :thumb:

From what I can work out the police still own it and they're going to put it on the police museum once it's been restored. The Metropolitan police have done this with alot of their ex cars. If you look at the link below there's a few that are still owned by their forces.

Apparently a good few years back before I joined the entire fleet were Austin Maestros!! To this day The old school coppers actually still give them good reviews!! I'm sceptical.

despite it all they were actually pretty decent runarounds, nothing that could be considered "high performance" but for general driving about town (panda car duties I suppose) they were pretty easy going motors.

granted, they wernt exactly "lookers"
