JC
Sorry to hear that and i would have not settled for £50! a respray near me is £100 for a good job!
marshy
tbh jc... i was in no mood to be arsing about he said if it went over £100 hed have to got thro insurance.. and i really cba with that.. besides no one was hurt and i knew i had a replacement.. the £50 is just a bit of compo for the hassle of painting the replacement.. Craig855S
As JC said i'd need more than £50, A self done respray wont do the car justice so i'd want the bumper done by a pro which is easily £100+ (Last time i enquired about spraying prices it was £80 for a rear bumper but this was 2006 ish). If he'd have paid you £99 no quibble then i'd demand that, not settle for £50.

tomsy
Nice to see someone do the genuine thing accept it was just a small bump take the cash, and not go down the whiplash compensation road which is pushing all our insurance premiums up well done. marshy
well ive finished painting the rear bumper today.. and what an @rse of a job it was... every motorfactors i went to only had two small cans of tourmallard in stock... bought the last two in two shops last week... went and bought the last two in two shops this week...one even went as far as arguing with me that tourmallard green didnt exist!! and that it was tourmalline that i wanted! till i took him out side and showed him the car, even then he brought a can of tourmalline out to test colour difference!!anyways the pics..http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/IMG-20120728-00170.jpghttp://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c151/marshy61278/IMG-20120728-00169.jpg im not overjoyed at the match.. but itll do until i have funds to replace both bumpers(as the fronts a pattern part)

marshy
i know sid i know like i said tho.. itll do till i can get replacement bumpers front and back... cos the fronts a pattern part.. theres no foam backing just a plastic brace.. when i get the replacements ill either get tourmallard bumpers or get them pro sprayed..
