RobMk6
Evening, Im currently living in the block at work and use a company called Media Force for a wired 2 meg connection, however this is annoying me as is typical with most army camps theres no phone signal at all and I cant use my laptop as a wireless router to my phone, it works to my ipod but not my phone! What I need is a cheap wireless router that will enable me to use this connection on my phone and laptop etc.... please provide any links to ebay as thats more than likely where it'll come from. CheersRob
PeeWee
You should be able to use the laptop as a wireless hotspot (ad-hoc connection) to connect any wireless device via the laptop wifi when connected to the lan (wired) connection.
Craig855S
Why you no with BT? At least they'd give you a wireless router for the extra monthly cost, and i assume you're already paying BT line rental?

Doesn't seem to work with the iphone, worked on the ipod but even then it only lets me do as tempory connection and goes off after a while. Craig, we've got an internet socket in the rooms so pay no line rental.

stuey650
Another one that would work for you is "Virtual Router" although only works with a win7 OS.
