Yeh theres a special primer :)

the whole underside, engine bay and inner floor is done in it, then the special primer. Its expensive but should be worth it.

They do a product called whitecoate too which is an over coat for POR15 due to it not doing well if left un treated in UV.

Bits stripped for the powder coaters

New adjustable rear droplinks we've made up. Threads need shortening and nuts adding to lock (but you get the idea).

New top mounts fitted, should be a bit better than the old rubber ones :pancake:

Finally for the weekend doors are fitted (test fitted).

Wings have been tested and they will need a bit of work to get them to a level I'm happy with, but if my friend is free in the week we should get them on then :)

Other bits that I've forgot to bring photos home of :

Rear ARB modified - studs removed, holes enlarged and M10 bolt welded in.

Rear arms - ARB bracket which I had fabricated has been drilled to accept M10 bolts.

Next to do this week:

Drop the bits to the powder coaters and buy the paint :)

Feels like I'm getting somewhere now.

Its took a back seat at the mo with house moving like Stoo says.

Everything is back from the powder coaters though, and just gotta organise for my friend to come up to put the front wings back on, then it'll speed up again. Gotta be done for next years shows :)

Hows this turning out then? Is it deceased?

Just read through every page of this, awesome project, inspires me for mine! Shame it seems to have died off last year?

It's still going, got a little more paint on it that in the last pic though.
