Naylor2006
I think the weather hit us pretty hard, I was at my parents this weekend in Exmouth, tried to get to Taunton and the A376 was totally flooded, I was desperately trying to get to the M5 as I work just off Junction 25 and I knew that once I was on there I'd be fine, was a bit of a mission in the end, turned round just after Lympstone Village and headed towards Woodbury Common as it is higher ground, also it leads all the way to A3052 which I eventually made after some moderate flooding, from there I carefully negotiated some more moderate flooding to get to Junction 30 which got me on. I am a little nervous about getting home to the parents, going to my actual home is completely out, however, also I have one more shift tomorrow night and more rain to be forecast, should probably just stay in Taunton but I have no spare knickers! shawdreamer
I had a hefty log earlier that raised the bog water a inch or so for a moment...... does that count?

smithyandco
Live next to the River Calder at one of it's worst points for flooding. It's risen but no flood yet! The last lot of flooding caused it flood our back garden.
GingeRS2K
No big floods around here, just BIG puddles lol. Went down a country lane the other day, usually quiet but had but of traffic. Bottom of hill there's a small river not usually there, less than 10 inches or so. As I watched the car in front of me go, in the middle of the road - car on coming does the same but it's a feckin freelander, I go for it as water isn't that high, freelander puts its high beams on at me cursing at me to back off, I give him the 2 fingered flick as he's driving like a pansy and go up on the grass bank and carry on around him and off I continue my journey. Ain't Mondeo TDCi's great?!!

Lee R
only affected my journey to work. Won't moan about it as there are plenty worse off than that!!! I've got Bridgwater, Gillingham and Frome tomorrow, so that could be fun

I know they do, I've had the thing apart for other things etc (they ain't reliable when they don't want to be but are when they do) but freelander and mondeo vs -10 inches of water? I know common sense is to drive in the middle of the road as its usually higher ground. The water barely touched his alloys like mine barely touched the sills.
