BMW Question

I currently have an E46 BMW 3 Series M Sport Saloon, with 17" Double Spoke alloys (as below):

But I'm looking to get 18" MV2 alloys like these:

My question is, can I simply swap these over or do I have to do something special?

Apologies for the stupid question but I just want to make sure!

Awww man.

Been deliberating whether to go for the 18's ever since I got the car (about 3 years ago) and finally decided to go for them.

Maybe I should have a vote?

The double spokes are more deep-dish, which is cool.

Have you taken into account the cost of decent 18" rubber, worse ride due to lower profile and front wishbone bushes on a yearly basis?

The 18's look good, but not better, and not worth the extra coin.

Hmmm.

Damn you Sid.

Hard not to agree with any of that, plus I'm skint to boot.

I don't believe he was asking for opinions on wheels, just whether or not it'll fit.

MV2's all day long.
