theres only 1 thing which rly gives it away as s fake, the rs badge on the wing should be below the repeater, not above

Lack of oil wouldn't melt it. Too hot or pre ignition would!

cheers ahm, this may sound silly but, i know pre ignition is where the mixture ignites before the spark plug fires, but how does it ignite? From heat inside the chamber? Hence too hot? lol i'm just learning

happy its all rebuilt and running luvverly now done about 3k since.. did think about changing the engine but then decided against it, its not too slow to be honest, like everyone knows they are pretty durable and I can insure it with all the modifications declared including stereo. :D

no they are ridiculously slow dont lie to yourself lol i had one in my old mk3 fez, only had 27k on it with various bits done to it and id still get outrun by nearly everything on wheels, id get done from the lights by kids on 125s (got em back when i got my bike out so it made up for the lack of speed the fez had)

Thanks! Yeah got to keep it nice!

I've just got hold of some mk5 RS2000 alloys! They're at home sitting it my bedroom to be precise :D, they have hardly any corrosion but are a bit rough going to strip them and polish them and see how they come up!

Oh and Georgio Love your car with the frst lump in it, I do like a nice mk5a :D

Looks great as is, the mk5 wheels will look wrong. Mk6 rs2k / so wheels would look better if you want the full rep look :)

Really nice looking car you got seeing those angel eyes makes me realise i made the right decision to get some for mine just gotta find the time to fit them.

The angel eyes are great, I love the look, only thing is I wish the halos were brighter!

I know a guy who wants to swap my mk5 2k wheels for mk6 ones off his van. But I'm going to see what they like for some reason I've always loved those alloys. Its true though they might look a bit odd next to the curves of the mk6.

Will get some more picture up next week :D
