Ahmotorsport
Lack of oil wouldn't melt it. Too hot or pre ignition would!
rs2k_mad
Lack of oil wouldn't melt it. Too hot or pre ignition would!cheers ahm, this may sound silly but, i know pre ignition is where the mixture ignites before the spark plug fires, but how does it ignite? From heat inside the chamber? Hence too hot? lol i'm just learning happy its all rebuilt and running luvverly now done about 3k since.. did think about changing the engine but then decided against it, its not too slow to be honest, like everyone knows they are pretty durable and I can insure it with all the modifications declared including stereo. Yeah got to keep it nice! I've just got hold of some mk5 RS2000 alloys! They're at home sitting it my bedroom to be precise , they have hardly any corrosion but are a bit rough going to strip them and polish them and see how they come up! Oh and Georgio Love your car with the frst lump in it, I do like a nice mk5a

I know a guy who wants to swap my mk5 2k wheels for mk6 ones off his van. But I'm going to see what they like for some reason I've always loved those alloys. Its true though they might look a bit odd next to the curves of the mk6. Will get some more picture up next week
