the_big_man
Started ordering some parts today. New battery tray and a pair of sills, new cosworth hockey sticks and Mk6 mirrors and some shard in fiberglass!! Engine removal will be happening next week and this is how it stands now. Also went round the car looking for where the fiberglass needs repairing / replacing. Rear chassis legs look rusty but when poked are actually still strong (despite appearance). There is a small hole in one side of the boot but not on the other 1.6 cvh to be removed http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest002.jpg one slightly front end http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest014.jpg and the side http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest013.jpg having fun http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest012.jpg offside rear chassis leg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest011.jpg nearside rear chassis leg and manky standard exhaust http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest010.jpg nearside boot floor http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest009.jpg offside boot floor http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest008.jpg boot filled with stuff http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest007.jpg naff steering wheel...offers??? http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest006.jpg interior http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest005.jpg load of free cables i was given for work from Q&H http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest004.jpg small repair list (ever growing!) http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/latest003.jpg

the_big_man
Anything been happening to this of late??? funny you should ask...not a lot to be honest. Been flat out at work for a few weeks so had no time to strip the car. Emptied the car out today and removed the dash and carpet and remains of the interior to go rust hunting (wasn't hard to find!) A proper OMFG with the rust levels found...new parts on order and a few dozen bottles of gas and reels of wire for the welder. Loads to do... battery trayhttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/cosworth/6.jpg n/s sill by seatbelt anchoragehttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/cosworth/5.jpg n/s sill by ecuhttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/cosworth/4.jpg internal battery trayhttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/cosworth/3.jpg o/s rear seat belt anchoragehttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/cosworth/2.jpg o/s fuse box areahttp://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x448/the_big_man1/cosworth/1.jpg

The new wheels are 17" Team Dynamics Somethings!!! Also managed to get a full set of XR/RS Headlights and side lights and wiring plugs to go with it. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/Latest%20Project/cossie2024.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/Latest%20Project/cossie2026.jpg also found a good use for the spoiler http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/Latest%20Project/cossie2027.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/l99amm/Latest%20Project/cossie2028.jpg
