danj8608 Posted August 19, 2013 Author Share Posted August 19, 2013 This van is a pain in the ass.. got most of the jobs done on sat/sun.. went to the scrappy to see what was about que a megane splitter and a si small steering wheel for 7 quid all in. So set about fitting the wheel but the horn wouldn't work so messed about trying to sort that. I go to start the van and nothing. . Starter motor doesn't do a thing checked the wiring checked the fuses even swapped the fuse box and still nothing. So got a jump lead from battery to starter it spins with a grinding noise then goes off.. so I do it again same thing. By this time its 10.30 pm id had enough, tools and crap all over the garden. So no mot today getting another starter motor for it hopefully that's the problem.
