Gutted :nutter: Can you show a pic a bit more up close of your skirt/arch where there all joined and smoothed in please (front). And also a close up of how you've done the bit by the rear door that would normally go up the rear quarter. Did you cut it competely off and smooth it in? (the bit inside the door) When stuff is just in filler etc its hard to see all the lines and work out how sumits done :thumb:

Will do the cars in my work back in Monday so I'll have em for you then

The rear arches were trail and error the kit it's self isn't that good really so I've had to

Trim it in so it will fit bit by bit real pain I cut the line of the door off to make it abit easier

To work with I had to do rip out all the fibre glass I had done on the n/s rear

Arch because the foam I'd put in had pushed it out to far so nothing lined up.

The side skirts have been trimmed and lined up with added fibre glass to make it stinger

With filler skimmed over. :thumb:

Ok cool. Thing i cant get over....on the skirts where it goes up into the rear quarter......is about 4 inches from the front door. Is a 3 door escorts door that much longer or what? My kits not great quality either...tbh I dont think ANY fibreglass kits are that great!!! My skirts are the worst, lumps and bumps. Its not all going to show up properly untill I get it in a coat of paint

Yeah the 3 door front doors are longer much 30cm long I think I've done the rear twice now

And I'm having trouble getting it to look right there's a slight curve in the side skirt

Which is a pain because the door sill is flat but the skirt isn't but hopefully I'll get it looking right.

The rear door were the gap in the side skirt is but to be honest I think I cut the skirt abit wrong so you might not have that problem but I have a another set of side skirts so I might see if I can take a piece off them to make it level all the way if it works I'll put some pics up but then I might have a problem were the skirt meets the door :nutter:

Hmm I'm having a blonde day!!!!! Do you mean the skirt edge where it starts to flare outwards. From the rear door you'll have 4" or so of flat before it flares out. Did you mean that you cut the 'horizontal' line...er... not so horizontal, so if you look from a low down angle it will look wonky compared to the top edge of the skirt. Below is mine, from what I think you mean....
