bongo
anybody else had this who's done the rs conversion? father in law has been and checked. he seems to think the output from the ecu to the gauge could be naffed,so need to know what the temp gauge wire no 7 on the white plug....white/green,where it goes to on the ecu...(rs2k dads ecu)
bongo
right update on this, traced wire from back of gauge white/green goes into fusebox and out,got 2 plugs coming out of the wing on drivers side under scuttle,on the plug from the fuse box (zetec loom) i have 2 wires that are white/green,the plug then from the rs2k ecu which plugs into this has a black/green wire going to 1 of the wires but the other is blank ( the zetec temp gauge needs 2 inputs the rs only uses 1)so this is why the gauge reads max,its not getting a pull from the ecu to bring it down. so how do i get around this? do i just join the 2 white/green wires so they both go to the rs's 1 black/green wire? help please guys.
