MikeyRS
A nice rocker cover always makes the engine bay look a shed load better Cheers Nice to see something different. What you driving these days scott? If you need to use a ramp, give me a shout, im in the workshop most nights. Got a wee Ibiza as my daily, nothing special just a 1400 but cheap insurance and running costs Cheers Mike very handy to know as getting a shot of a ramp these days can be difficult haha I'm hearing yous are getting rolling road in? Sorely needed up this way What happened to the ST? Yeh, theres already another rolling road just started up your way, so im waiting to see how it goes before i put mine in. But yeh, just getting settled in the workshop just now.

Oh dear http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/IMAG0173_zps5d356e8a.jpg Passengers side is not as bad http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/IMAG0174_zpsdcb28256.jpg So.... I've started work on the drivers sideThankfully the inner sills seem fairly solid so looks like it may just be treat them and then a new sill section (both sections on the way ) http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/IMAG0210_zps9ed9decf.jpg Come across far worse than this with my last GTI ! Thankfully this is all the nastiness I can find on the mx5 Watch this space

scottg17
my friend has just got one the same colour and its rotten in the same place as this i hope he lets me have a go before he crashes this one Worst place for them to rot, mine was fine when I got it too, provided you catch it early like mine it's relatively easy to sort out, if it's rotted up round the arches your looking at a whole 1/4 panel and likely inner arch work, thankfully mines still solid and should remain like that with some rust preventing measures Could be worse haha >>> http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads...or-mot-o.19362/
