mykez69
Looks good on the alley cats. As a whole I like what your doing. Shame you dumped the interior stuff I would of had the parcel shelf and wooden bits that sit on boot floor The alleycats are aftermarket ones I believe and in Capri offset? Wicked project though Buy my xr2 engine ;-) they do seem to stick out quite far, im a little worried they will catch the arches when it gets lowered, i have some 50mm springs waiting for me at the post office! how much u want for it? n what sort of condition is it in? Is be happy with how the wheels sit. I hope mine sit like that. Bit of poke ftw looks great on these cars. Just add camber or roll arches a bit if they do catch but looks like you be ok Not though about a price, just got it running today, sounds fine though and think it's only done 46k I'm waiting on confirmation about a zetec setup ready to plumb into one of these so when I hear back will let you know As far as I know you don't need after market management on the zetec,

shawdreamer
what do u think?!?! honestly? I think you need to lose the AlleyCats. personally I think they look outright awful on that motor, stance looks wrong and the offset protrusion just makes it look like someones trying to maker a scrapper look like a intentional "DUB" style. that is of course you wernt actually aiming for that appearance in which case......... well done, looks bang on what you wanted. Shaw....i dispise the 'dub' scene so ill take what ur sayin on board. As far as it bein a scrapper. Cmon dude its not that bad! rear springs are easy, undo the the shock top mount and yank the spring out. needs to go lower though. I did it all from the bottom. Tried to undo from the top but a 6mm spanner isnt easy to get any force into! Edited November 24, 2013 by scottybo

Im not saying it looks like a scrapper, Im saying with those wheels on it looks like a dub scrapper.... lose the Alleys and the motor will instantly become "tidy" again

The other wheels i was looking at were some minilights. There arent many wheels from that era of ford that i rly like.......which makes it difficult because i dont rly like aftermarket wheels either
shawdreamer
Id have refurbed the pepperpots myself, I still think a decent clean set look the nuts on a Mk2 with XR arches in place. given the colour of yours even blacked PP's would work (gloss or matt/PC'd imho) maybe not blacked afterall.... doesnt look right, taken off google... http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/31535.jpg but standard PP's on a Mk2 are still my own preference. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/31536.jpgmmmmmmmm brb need to w4nk..... scottybo
not a lot happening on the fiesta front as of late, it blew its exhaust to pieces the other day, it has been shoddily rewelded before and now its given up the ghost, luckily had a brand new mk2 fez exhaust in the garage, so ill get on that at some point
scottybo
She officially now breathes fire. Exhaust box exploded into a million pieces going round a roundabout last week. So stuck on my mates drive until the torrential rain stops n i can get up there n change exhaust. On the plus side it sounds like a rally car now Between repairing this. Trying to get my focus running right l. The engine fitted to my escort........and trying to stop the bmw leaking oil over my drive. Iv got my hands full!
