M-A-R-K
Hi Guys.Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section. I'm looking for opinions on a set of white dials that i'm getting made for me.At the minute i have standard dials and the car dial but i plan on fitting a rev counter set instead.Which of these 3 do you guys think looks best? I want them to be different which is why i've asked for the random colour schemes.Or any suggestions of improvements to them would be welcome, I wont have to worry about night time lighting as they are lit up from the top.http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/1_zps909065f9.jpghttp://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/2_zps750a94e9.jpghttp://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/3_zpse8fe2988.jpg Cheers,Mark. mike19892007
IMO second one looks best mate but tbh I'd rather standard gti white clocks no messing around then, needles on em break so easily lol
M-A-R-K
Hi Mike. Thanks i was thinking that one too, quite like the top one but slightly too much red on it.Apparently i just slide these over the needles? like the lockwood ones as the holes are bigger. Will probably do the needles in blue if i can get a shade that matches the dials.I'll post some pics up when i've got them see what everyone thinks. Mark. M-A-R-K
Thanks Zeth. Dials arrived today, I got 2 sets one with a dark blue and one with a light blue. (also got 4 clock faces)Have fitted them onto the clocks with the rev counter that im planning on fitting.Smashed the glass off as it had a crack in the middle so will swap it with the one on my clocks if it will fit. Dark blue dial in the middle.. which one do people prefer ? light blue ring or dark blue ring ?http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/Dials1_zps54fcdc85.jpghttp://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/Dials2_zps3d54e45a.jpghttp://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/Dials3_zps50172776.jpghttp://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/Dials4_zps5ce072bf.jpghttp://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab273/M-A-R-K-79/Dials5_zpsef084c93.jpg The carbon texture ain't bad either at £4 a set i'm pleased with them, only downpoint is the ring on the RPM dial not positioned perfectly. I don't think i need to bother colouring the needles but suggestions / thoughts are welcome. Mark.
JC
They do look good, i'd paint the needles red or orange

M-A-R-K
Thanks JC,I think orange needles will be great, will see if i can get one of those nail varnish style touch up paint pots at the weekend and hopefully get them finished and fitted. M-A-R-K
Hi Scottybo,They were £4 for the dials and £1.85 for signed for delivery. (i brought 2 sets though as i can't decide if to have the lighter blue ring like the rev counter or the dark blue like the speedo dial) I got them done slightly cheaper than the ebay price as i paid straight through paypal.Seemed really helpfull and basically said i could choose any colour / design / logo i wanted all for £4, (i must have took up a few hours of his time with adjustments haha) Here's the guy i got them from... (carbon-dials)http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200985747943 Think this one is the same guy but just white without carbon... (white-dials)http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261325926099 I was expecting them to be poor for the cheap price but they look and feel good quality and came with double sided tape on the back too.Fitting is simple as they just slide over the needles like Lockwood dials. Sorry if i'm not supposed to post links to or mention where i got them from on here? Mark

M-A-R-K
Will do, hopefully if the weather is good at the weekend i can do some pics of how she's looking at the minute. Does anyone know how much roughly it would cost to get one of those Cosworth style rear spoilers that goes up top of the rear window?http://mt-motorsport.com/marko/images/WRC%20Parts%2014.10.13%20008.JPG If your Puma dials are the same as the newer escort you should ask if he does them as the guy who pointed him out to me on Facebook had a set of black dials with green symbols on them for his clocks with digital screens. I asked if he can make me a white heater dial ? but he said they are curved so can't be done, but this guy on google has them: http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/7210/img0292fn.jpg Anyone know where to get them ? hpcoxy
but this guy on google has them:http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/7210/img0292fn.jpgAnyone know where to get them ? That is a standard heater panel that someone rubbed the dial off. Chav style.Your white dial look chavy with for racing logo on. Good price but would look better without the logos.
