scottybo
for a super easy upgrade you could swap to the white faced dials from a puma or a fiesta like i have or rockerobb had a set of plasma dials fitted which looked pretty swish. think he got them on ebay for a fairly decent price

OP when you term it as "neon" what exactly are you looking for? If its the plasma look your after then you could just fit a purpose made for the task aftermarket job, I have them in my own car (see sig for example) as you can actually see what these are there to inform you about. If its more along the lines of a change of colour to your dashes ilumination then there plenty of other methods and modifications to acheive that also (again I recently converted my own dash back lighting from the god awful puke green ford seem to love to an alot more modern feeling blue for mere pennies....see my SUYM thread)

Am I right in thinking the clocks arnt back lit at all and it's all lit from the bulb in the front?

I may have to bite the bullet and try it sometime soon as the end result is exactly what I'm after its remarkably simple to achieve somethings specially when your willing to try a different approach. that mod in particular is a good example of how you dont have to pay out silly amounts of money to achieve a result that works aswell as or imho better than the mods readily available that do similiar
