(Sorry!) I've been driving for 13 years and always had Escorts - started with a Mk2 1.3 Ghia (inc vinyl roof) Mk3 Ghia then a Mk6. When I first got my Mk6 I thought it was well posh compared to the Mk3! I think there are a lot of factors for it being quiet on here and other forums. Scrappage scheme didn't help, Mk1 Focuses are cheap as chips now , Most new drivers think a lot about insurance / tax rates and go for ugly Japanese cars, plus most cars made after 2000 are so well equipped there is less home DIY improvements / servicing in general which has a knock on effect for forums like this. - Just my thoughts.
