blacksofstichill
That looks mint! Have you had it for long?
miniman1969
I've had it for a month now, I'm the second owner its got 87k on it and is painfully slow. would like to swap another engine in but not really sure what to go for. Its pretty tidy for an old ford with just one small scab on one rear arch.
lee grout
Nice and clean. You got any plans other than a possible engine change?
scottybo
Looks mate. Rly dnt see many mk5s anymore! Easiest and cheapest engine change would be an 1800 zetec i wlda thouvht. But late escorts came with pretty much every engine ford made at the time so anything will fit nicely!
miniman1969
Nice and clean. You got any plans other than a possible engine change? was hoping to keep it looking fairly standard, tidy up the bits that need it, could be tempted by a set of wheels, although the retro look of the plastic wheel trims appeals too! I'm fairly good mechanically having worked on minis, built engines for them etc

miniman1969
Make a proper sleeper out of it! r they 13" wheels!?!?That's what I was thinking too, they're 14's. What would I need from an 1800 zetec escort, would it just be engine, ecu, sensors etc. Would I need the whole loom?
