they will fit but the revo will read wrong

 

something to do with 9v electrics vs 12v. i had this on my mk3 fiesta. i fitted the clocks from a carbed vehicle and mine was fi. the revvo read about 50% more than the engine was actually revving

Thank you for the advice, I had hoped to keep a good bit of it standard but I did want white dials and can't find a set for the 1.3 which has the clock instead of the review counter :nutter:

Scotty is wrong

There are two types of series 2 clocks

The only difference is where the fuel and temp gauges are situated.

Some fuel gauges are on the left and some on the right.

The 1.3 bonus etc... Didn't come with rev counters like you say the time clock was situated where the rev counter is in a RS Turbo.

All you have to do is take a feed off the ignition coil to wire up the rev counter and it will work.

And all series 2 escort RS Turbo clocks were black from the factory. White ones are after market dial kits such as Lockwood etc...
