Time has come where the GTi is no longer fit for purpose. Family of 4 and I need something bigger.

At the minute Im gauging what sort of response Ill get....

2.0l mondeo engine fitted just over 12 months ago, currently ~80k and new clutch. Genuine Ford timing belt and waterpump fitted around 500 miles ago. Car runs very well. No major oil leaks (crank seal is weeping), and no coolant loss. Car does tend to run hot (as do most zetecs I believe). 2 new rear wheel bearings around 300 miles ago.

•Lowered 30/40mm on weitec coilovers

•17" Super Turismo alloys in very good condition and 4 very good tyres

•Mondeo ST170 grooved front discs, mondeo calipers and Hel Blue braided front hoses

•Red dipped rocker cover

•engine chrome (oil cap, manifold cover, strut covers and centre caps)

•Red front strut brace

•Induction filter

•Red intake hose

•RS grill

•Stainless decat

•Stainless Magnex cat-back with 4" tailpipe

•Genuine Ford wishbones

•ST170 droplinks

•Pro-flex ARB bushes

As its a Escort, rear passenger arch needs doing, rear spoiler needs painting.

MOT April 2014, Tax end of March 2014.

Looking for £550. No offers, I wont be breaking it or selling parts off it.

I know I will get more by breaking it, but I dont have the time or space to do so..

Let me know if interested.

Thanks

Back up for sale.

Since the above listing its had:

12 months MOT - April

Tax until August

Front pads (100 miles on them)

Rear wheel bearing

Fan switch

Issues:

New rear wheel bearing fitted, but still has play when held at 3 & 9 o'clock position - stub axle?

Front tyres are worn on the inside

Front arms are worn and car wanders

I dont believe the car should be driven away based on the rear wheel play!

Engine bay, but currently has cone filter:

May look to brake it for the minor things like coilies, wheels, front brakes, engine chrome etc..... but I wont be removing the engine or box.
