this is bugging me 2 gaskets later and still no luck

 

this weekend replaced the ICV (Never want to have to do that again)

 

put a new cat on and married my magnex up to the cat bolted as tight as o could still pulling apart at the bottom of the flanges blowing .. really lost for as what to do now

mine does this. i have to take it apart, re gum it and put it back together once every 2 months. ive snapped bolts trying to tighten them as much as possible.

 

that perticular joing is a bit bad on fords part really. they should have put a sprung gasket style bolt

can you not get a flange/spacer to go between and fit the gaskets and with longer bolts, should sort it I would imagine unless the rear box is sitting too far in the mid section that its dragging it back

i found the flange on the magnex had corroded badly I could get a decent seal onto the cat, so had a new flange welded on
