scottybo
Just been given an ecu. Code on it is 1AGB. Been told its a prepats 130 xr3i ecu some websites say its for a 130 zetec engine. Some say its for an rs2000. Could anyone clear this up for me? As id prefer to use a plug in and go ecu for my new engine rather than havin to have the correct key etc

blacksofstichill
1agb is 100% mk5 rs2000 and is pre pats, I don't know the zetec codes off the top of my head but that one is definitely an Rs one.

Escort Si-130
1AGB is definitely RS2000 mk5a. I had in my 1994 Escort mk5b cabriolet originally with 1.8 zetec 130 the code of COPY. Its part number was 92FB-12A650-BD, I had sell mine looking at my records in February last year for £12.24 on ebay.
scottybo
with my 'AQUA' ecu, i have the ecu itself, the transponder ring and the key, would this be difficult to wire into the mk6 loom? it originally came from a mk5 cabby
Escort Si-130
Not sure, never tried the pats version. All the ones I have done have been pre PATS.
