I built most of it, I took the gti side skirts off and I have some nicer ones to go on, it already had a mk5 front end conversion, I turned down some rs2 lights because I like the way these line up with the wings, I just need the clear top indicators to finish it off, I've wired them into the bottom like on the rs2's though, I'll put a pic up of how it looked when I bought it soon

See i think the orange looks better. I put orange indicaters on my e46

The 1.6 isnt weak at all. Actually theyre bloody robust little engines. Just not as fast as their bigger brothers. But even so with a few choice mods the little 1.6 still shifts fairly well

Tbh the 1.6 is pretty underpowered, it's 90hp standard and the 5door it came out of was pretty slow, however 90hp is damned powerful for a first car nowadays and it's all about weight and the corners, some nice grippy tyres and Coilovers and she'll stick canny :)

Also I've had this car for over a year, (since my 16th birthday) and I've rebuilt all the brakes with new disks, pads, shoes, rear brake cylinders and calipers because one was seized, I've put 60mm lowering springs on, new front shocks, changed the gti interior to mk5 rs2000, fixed numerous electrical faults including the heater fans and finally a few cosmetic changes as you can see... And the radio has been changed as well as the speakers and it temporarily had a sub... I could go on all day lol...

I think it defiantly deserves a "Built not bought sticker" lol
