Craig whitehurst Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Hello guys I got a 1.8 efi cabby xr3i that I'm having trouble with, it runs sweet when cold but if it gets hot in traffic or on a long run etc it has a miss fire under load at 3000rpm?? It's had plugs, leads, a different coil, injectors put in it over winter but took it out for the 1st time today this year and still the same?? Any ideas?? horizon Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Bung it on a rolling road is my advice as it could be a number of things and you could well spend more bunging new sensors etc on. Could be: Temp sensorFuel Pump ( low fuel pressure)Head GasketAir leak on inlet side (gasket or servo)Throttle Position SensorMass Airflow meter (give it a clean with some carb cleaner)Cam Timing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
