fiestamike
Hoping someone has found the cause of this before. Its a '93 xr3i 105PS, got various 130 bits on it and it doesn't half go, until I had the battery off over the weekend. Put it back on on sunday and since then its had absolutely no poke, it doesn't die off particularly but it feels like its holding back. It doesn't idle very well when its cold and has a hesitation when you blip the throttle. I've not touched anything, only had the battery off while I welded the back legs. Going to test everything but thought I'd ask some opinions first. I'm thinking fuel pressure as that's what it feels like. Anybody had this before? shawdreamer
Suddenly got no power shouldn't have got married then serious note though, you had the battery off for a fair amount of time I assume, iirc that means your ecu would have reset to factory standard and needs to "re-learn" its settings, maybe even highlighting a fault that was already present but gone unnoticed. failing that depending on what type of welding you did and were, you could have blown out a relay or fuse regardless of whether you yanked the battery during or not
