Chall
My plan is to rip the 1.3 ohv out my mk5 and put a mfi rest engine in. I know mfi is dated and temperamental but at the minute from breaking a few I have a cam'd engine, hybrid turbo, loom and ECU's. What mount will I need for the engine side? What has other folk used for pipe work etc? Any help much appreciated

Chall
Maybe.... But the rs turbo mount has 1 nut upper fixing and the current mount has a 2 nut upper fixing so that one won't work
scottybo
You said yours was a 1.3 so a hcs engine. To fit a cvh engine you will need cvh mounts
Mex
Does the mount need to be from a Mk5/6? The 1.4 models have a CVH and there's a few Mk6 1.4 models listed for breaking on Ebay.

scottybo
If you have an already running donor vehicle it wouldnt be hard. Just get mk5 cvh mounts. Then transfer everything as it is to the new vehicle
